Robin Trower - Complete BBC Sessions 1973-75

Este maravilhoso bootleg eu encontrei no blog do meu amigo Mike Patrick, a.k.a.  SilentWay. O disco traz gravações dos primeiros anos da carreira solo de Robin Trower, período em que ele gravou três ótimos discos: Twice Removed from Yesterday (1973),  Bridge of Sighs (1974) e For Earth Below (1975), álbuns que formariam o set list do disco Live! (1976). Para muitos, inclusive eu, o melhor disco deste espetacular guitarrista inglês. São gravações soundboard de excelente qualidade retiradas das transmissões de dois renomados programas musicais da BBC: o Bob Harris Show e John Peel Radio Show.

Complete BBC Sessions 1973-1975

This wonderful bootleg I found the blog of my friend Mike Patrick, aka SilentWay. The album features recordings of early Robin Trower solo career, during which he recorded three great albums: Twice Removed from Yesterday (1973), Bridge of Sighs (1974) and For Earth Below (1975), albums that would form the set list of Live! (1976). For many, including me, the best record of this spectacular English guitarist. Excellent quality soundboard recordings, taken from broadcasts of two renowned musical programs of the BBC: Bob Harris Show and John Peel Radio Show.

NOTES: Received these from a trader in the UK around 1992 that was affiliated with the BBC. He claims all were from his masters that he recorded himself, making them 1st gen. copies. Gklainer transferred these from the original cassettes to .wav files in 1998.  Note that the set list from 1/28/75 is from the day before he recorded the BBC 1 Radio Live In Concert CD.
